THE RUINED WEDDING

“EunMi, w-will you marry me?”, Youngmin’s voice is shaky as he felt the nervousness.

You stare at him in surprise. Your eyes are really broad open.

You can see on his eyes the sincerity. At that moment, you cried in front of him.

He abruptly stand up and hold both of your shoulder.

“waeyo? Why are you crying ? if you don’t want...it’s okay with me. I can wait”, he said to you with full of worry because you’re crying.

You shake your head lightly. You wipe your tears and laugh softly.

“I’m okay~”, you said and look at him in the eyes.

“and...my answer is yes”, you smile. His lips turn to curve and he hug you in all of a sudden.

“I love you so much”, he whisper while you both still hugging each other.

“I love you, too”, you reply.

As you broke the hug he kisses you on your lips. You kiss him back.

MONTHS PASSED

You both decided to have a little party before your wedding comes. So you invited your friends as well as Youngmin’s friends.

“Hey! Congrats, bro”, he is twin greeted him as well as you. You just smile at Kwangmin.

“Congratulations, sister-in-law”, you let out a small laugh and hug him.

“Hyung, when is your wedding?”, Minwo asked Youngmin.

“Next week” he replies shortly.

“Aish .... How I wish I also get married as soon as possible”, Minwoo whined. You all laugh at his cuteness.

“Minwoo, you’re not alone”, Kwangmin said and chuckle.

“Aigoo.. Donghyun-hyung, HyunSeong-hyung, Jeongmin-hyung and now... Youngmin-hyung will get married. How about me?”, Minwoo fake crying.

“We should find our girlfriends now”, Kwangmin join him to his little drama.

“Hey, why don’t you introduce yourselves to them?”, you tell the two while pointing to your friends(girls).

Both of their face light up. They fix their selves for a minute and go to the girls.

All of you just laugh at the two on how aggressive of them to get married as soon as possible.

“hahaha :D they are still kids”, you said.

“hahahaha :D Youngmin, you’re twin never grow-up as well as Minwoo”, Jeongmin said.

You left the boys and went to the kitchen to get some juice.

Your smile never erase on your face.

“Lovely wife EunMi, where are you?”, soon, you heard Youngmin’s voice calling you.

“I’m here”, you said, a bit loud so he can hear.

“Oh, what are you doing?”, he walk towards you while you are drinking.

“Drinking~ “, you said as you show him your glass. He laughs softly as he hug you.

You put the glass on the table before you hug him back.

“Aigoo... I can’t wait for our wedding next week.”, he said as he kissed your forehead.

“Me too”, you simply reply and hug him once.

The Big Day

“EunMi, Let’s go now”, your mom called you.

You gave the last touch on your face before you go outside the room.

“wow~ you’re so beautiful”, your mom astonished by your beauty. You just smile widely.

“EunMi, always remember we are always here, okay?”, your dad said as he touch your shoulder.

“Appa, I will be okay on Youngmin. Yeah, I’ll keep that on my mind”, you smile at him.

Youngmin’s POV

My mind can’t erase the happiness as well as the worried feeling that I kept inside of me.

I’m a bit afraid that something will ruin this wedding.

I just hope she won’t come...

(Flashback/s)

On the phone....

“Hi Youngmin” a girl from the other line greeted him seductively.

“Who’s this?”, Youngmin asked.

“You don’t know me?”, she asked back.

“No. Who are you?”, Youngmin quite pissed off.

“Why you didn’t invite me at your wedding?”, the girl asked.

“Who is this?”, Youngmin asked once again.

“Let’s just meet up on your wedding, I will be there even I’m not invited. You’ll see... I’ll make a scene there, darling”, the girl laugh evilly before she hung-up the phone.

Just then, Youngmin has a doubt it was Baek Ji. The girl that confessed to her before you and him got to a relationship. That girl is kind of an obsessed fan of him. Being kind to all persons, Youngmin try to make friend with her. But it didn’t end up with that. Beak Ji still pursue to win’s Youngmin’s heart.

He even calls Youngmin ‘darling’ even they are just friends. She always gets the attention of Youngmin. Youngmin got annoyed of her attitude as he felt that she is not a type of girl that he has to be friend with, so he took a distance to Baek Ji until he met you and introduce you on all of his friends including her. On that time, Baek Ji never showed up to Youngmin anymore. But now, she’s return ......

(end of flashback)

The door finally opens and I saw a gorgeous girl wearing a wedding dress.

I can feel that my heart beats really fast. She is walking now to the altar together with her parents.

I just set aside my problem and hope for the best on God.

But I still keep an eye for that Baek Ji. No one can ruin our big day.

I found her in front of me, smiling widely. I gave him a sweet smile.

Her parents finally give her hands to me. I gladly took it and lead her in front of the priest.

“......is there any objection on this wedding?........”, the priest asked.

All of us were quiet as we both take a look behind us.

EunMi turn back her gaze to the priest while me still looking around.

At that moment................

I quickly hug EunMi as I saw the girl in the corner of my eyes. In seconds ------ BANG!

[Your POV]

I was surprise at Youngmin when he suddenly hugged me.

After that a loud shoot was heard on the church.

I look at Youngmin he smiles to me before he landed to the floor.

“Youngmin!”, I shouted and cry while the people gone wild. They all went outside the church after they heard the loud shoot.

Kwangmin and the rest of Youngmin’s friends come to me and assist Youngmin as we saw his blood where coming out slowly from his back.

“Youngmin!”, I look around to see a girl. She was wearing a black dress with a gun.

Donghyun and Hyunseong harshly grabbed her in her arms as she drop the gun. I could see she is kind of crying. Maybe she will shoot me instead of Youngmin?

Wait! Is she Baek Ji? One of Youngmin’s friends before. How could she do this to us?!

Kwangmin help me stood up while Jeongmin and Minwoo took Youngmin and take him to the hospital.

“Gwaenchanayo?”, Kwangmin asked.

I shake my head and just cry on his chest.

“It’s okay, Youngmin will be okay”, he comforted me.

We’re on the hospital now and I’m still wearing my gown with a touch of Youngmin’s blood on some parts.

Soon, the doctor goes outside and we all gather around him.

He told us he want to talk to Kwangmin first, second is his parents and lastly Me.

I can’t hold my tears as I went inside his room.

His body was bond with a cloth.

He smiles weakly to me as he gesture me to come nearer.

“EunMi”, he called me weakly.

“Youngmin-ah~”, I cried.

“Mianheyo if our wedding ruined”, he said sadly.

“Just be okay, we can still get married after you come out to the hospital. For now, be alright”, I said as tears were roll on my cheeks.

“EunMi, just always remember that I love you, okay?”, he wipe my tears and cupped my face.

He can’t take it anymore, I guess. As he also cry together with me.

He sadly looks at me with his wet eyes.

“Youngmin, be alright okay?”, I told him.

He didn’t respond and just pull me into a passionate kiss.

“I love you”, he said with a weak smile.

“I love you---“, I was cut off as his hand that was on my cheeks suddenly fall.

His eyes also closed and the monitor turn to *beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep*

I panic as I hug him. I hit a button on the side of his bed and doctor and nurses came inside.

Kwangmin lead me on the corner as he also cry.

All of us cry at that moment because we can’t do anything just to watch him.

I clasped my hands and pray for him. Kwangmin hug me while I cry so loud.

“Youngmin~”, I keep on calling his name.

“Youngmin ~”

I wake up suddenly and found myself on the couch. I realize I was on Youngmin’s house.

Kwangmin was there just looking at me sadly.

Oh it was a memory now. All of the happenings were sad memories of Youngmin and I.

“Hey, EunMi... don’t cry now~ Youngmin will be sad from above if you’ll keep on crying”, Kwangmin said to me.

I cried again as I felt I really miss Youngmin. I also find myself crying while I’m sleeping.

“Before he died, he told me that I should take good care of you. He told me that even though the wedding didn’t finish, you’re still his wife as well he is your husband”, he smile at me.

“Don’t worry, I am a twin of your husband. If you felt you miss him, hug me if you want”, he said.

In all of that I was speechless all I could do is cry.

My memories with Youngmin, I will never ever forget, even some of them are sadness.

I really thank him for coming to my life. He really show and feel  to me that I am loved.

“Shhh.. don’t cry now~ I always love you”, Kwangmin suddenly hug me. I got shocked as I heard Kwangmin saying ‘I love you to me’.

But when I look at him once more, I saw Youngmin and not Kwangmin.

Youngmin is the one hugging me. The one who smile at me.

I kept on crying. But I guess, it’s not tears of pain now, but tears of joy as I felt the warm hug of my love again.
