IN HEAVEN

I look all over my surroundings but all I could see was merely white. It was so bright.

“Welcome ~”, I saw a hand in front of me. I stood up and saw a guy. He is wearing white. All white.

I don’t know but I take his hand and found myself following him.

Then, a beautiful mansion appears in front of us.

It was so pretty. I am really stunned. Everyone in the mansion greet me with all of their sweet smiles.

Of course, I smile back to them.

But a guy caught my eyes. He just looks at me with a sad face and looked away.

Soon, I was dragged to a white room. All things are white, I mean mostly are white and gold.

“This is your room...”, that surprise me. It’s because I’m walking with a guy earlier and now a girl.

Where is the guy from earlier? Did he just appear out of the blue?

I lie down on the bed and wonder why I am here. I’m supposed to be on my home. Together with my family but why am I here? I try to recall what happen before I enter on this white place but I just can’t remember even a tiny thing on my past.

Hours had passed and I’m still there on the room. Doing nothing.

I got bored so I try to go outside and explore the mansion.

It’s so big. Bigger than the word ‘big’ actually. And the people, it’s countless.

And I think, I’m the only person who didn’t work at ere. People in the mansion are all busy with lots of stuffs while me, I’m just walking like a tourist there.

I walk towards the garden. I could say it’s a garden since it has lots of beautiful flowers and plants.

When I enter it, I saw a boy sitting on a bench. I can’t see his face since his back was the one I see.

He was just staring at the empty space. He seems alone and lonely so I get the courage to come nearer him.

“Hi~”, I greeted him but he didn’t look back.

“Hi, why you’re alone here?”, I asked and take a seat next to him.

His head was lowered while he’s playing a flower on his hands. I look at him.

“Do you want to be alone?”, I asked him.

Finally, he looks at me, slowly. In my surprise it was the boy that just looks at me in a sad face a while ago.

“Oh, are you okay? Why you look so sad?”, I tried to make a conversation.

“Nothing~”, he plainly said. At last, he talked to me.

“You know, why don’t you try to smile? That really makes every people happy. Try!”, I smile at him.

“No way~”, he said and just look at the flower that he was playing a while ago.

That’s when I realize the flower that he was holding was Rose.

“Do you like roses?”, I asked him. He shook his head.

“I was about to give it to the girl I love”, he said to me.

“Then, why don’t you give it to her now?” I asked. But he didn’t respond.

“Anyways, what’s your name?”, I asked him.

“I’m Kwangmin~”, he said.

“Oh, I’m Ae Sook ! Anyways, do you know why we were here?”

“Sorry, I also don’t have any idea. As I open my eyes I already see this place and a guy just lead me here.”

“So, you mean you’re also new here?”

“Yes.”

“uhmm... can we be friends?”

“S-sure! Besides, I also don’t have friends here”

“So, that’s why you’re lonely and alone?” he just nods.

“Sorry for not responding on your question a while ago. I just don’t talk too much with strangers”

“Hey, we already know each other. So that means I’m not a stranger.” I pout.

“Yeah.Yeah. we’re friends now”, he said.

That’s when I saw his first smile. It was simple yet so bright.

I feel like an angel just smile to me.

“You’re so handsome when smiling. You should smile as always. I bet, you’ll get lots of fan girls here”, I joked.

He laughed. Oh~ that laugh, I can say it was a melody in my ears. Include his angelic face.

“You’re an angel, aren’t you?”, I asked in all of a sudden.

“I don’t know~”, he said.

Kwangmin and I got to be friends in just a short time.

We just talk and laugh in the garden. He is quite hyper once you knew him.

In just short time, I can say I’ve fallen to him already.

We’ve been friends there in that white place for almost 6 hours.

He really made me happy.

It’s really weird of what feelings I have for him. He really made me fall in love with him in just 6 hours.

We are both there on the garden just looking at the plants. No one talks.

I was happily lying down on the grass while him still on the bench, just playing the rose that he was holding.

“It’s so beautiful here, right ? It’s like a paradise~”, I said.

“Yeah, I’m really enjoying this place. It’s so peaceful. I’m happy that I’m with my friend”, he said as he look at me.

I just smile. “You’re so pretty when smiling”, he mumbled but I heard it.

I somewhat felt happiness and I’m blushing. Aigoo....

“You’re so handsome, Kwangmin-ah. Especially, when you’re smiling, too”, I told him.

I giggle at his cuteness as I saw him blushing.

“Our God call both of you”, a girl suddenly appears.

 We look at her and we both follow her as she leads us to ‘God’.

We stand in front of a guy, but we can’t see his face so clearly as it was so bright. I’m not sure but maybe it was ‘God’

Wait? I’m in ........................... heaven?!

“The time has come”, He said with echoes.

“I decided that you.....” he pointed his hands to me.

“...will have a chance to get back on Earth. You’re mission was not yet completed.”, He said.

“While you....”, He pointed to Kwangmin.

“You’ll stay here as your mission was already accomplished”, He said.

On that moment, my heart feels tighten. It’s because I’m holding my tears.

It’s really hurt in the chest. I look at Kwangmin and he smile at me sadly.

“Kwangmin-ah~”, I try to smile.

“You still have mission on the Earth. You must accomplish at first. So you can go here and be with me again”, he said.

“I will do the mission quickly so I will be with you again”, I said.

He holds my shoulders and suddenly hugs me. That’s when I didn’t hold my tears and I just cry as I buried my face on his chest.

“Kwangmin-ah”, I kept on crying.

I really don’t know why I have been so emotional. I just felt I will really miss him once I get back on the world.

“I will miss you so much, Ae Sook“, he said and kiss my forehead.

“I will miss you, too”, I reply and a door appears in front of us.

Maybe it was the way back to the Earth.

“I’ll go now”, I said as tears still flowing on my cheeks.

As I was near on the door, I look at him once again.

“Wait” I go back to him and hugged him once. I hug him tightly.

“I have something to tell you before I left”, I said and he just nod.

“I...I...”, I can’t say the words. I can’t say that I love him.

“I...I will go back here immediately”, that’s what I said, instead of saying ‘I love him’.

I found it somewhat regretting but it’s fine, I can still tell it to him once I go back to heaven.

“Yeah, I’ll wait for you. Here, take this rose, so you won’t miss me so badly”, he said and handle me the rose that he was holding since the first time we talk.

I took it and kiss him on the cheeks.

“I will miss you, bye”, I said and go to the door. A way to go back to the Earth.

He just waves his hands and smile at me.

[Kwangmin’s POV]

I hold my tears as I am witnessing Ae Sook is walking back to the Earth.

How I wish I could go with her. Sadly, I can’t. The only thing I can do is wait her.

Now, she is disappearing slowly as well as the door.

That’s when I start to cry quietly.

It’s kind of weird but since I met her, I already fell in love with her. I’m just shy to tell.

The most beautiful smile I ever seen since before was owned by Ae Sook.

On the second time that he hug me. I am wishing that she would say that she loves me.

But she just said... “I...I will go back here immediately”

Its fine, we can still meet after her mission accomplished.

That’s when I planning to confess to her.

I give her a remembrance. A rose. That rose is really for her. I whisper the words ‘I Love You’ on the rose before I give it to her. I just hope I can say it to her personally, someday.

I go back to the garden and sit on the bench.

My tears roll down on my cheeks as I felt I was alone again.
